The officers' club established in 1949 is one of the oldest institutions of this kind in south India. The club provides facilities recreation for the members and promotes the cultural and social activities for them.
Serving and retired Government officers belonging to Group A & B of State Government and Central Government are the main strength of the Club. The category of the members are Official member, Non–official member, Associate member, Institutional member, Life member, Honorary member, Health club member and Shuttle club member.
The entire management of the club is vested with the Managing Committee. President, Secretary and Joint Secretary shall be serving or Retired government officials. The rest of the members of the Managing Committee can be either from the Official /Non- official Members.
